Sunday Services

If it’s your first time in a church or if you are wanting to visit Gateway, you will be more than welcome. Our Sundays are all about finding and making great friends, learning more about the Christian faith, and singing great songs that will inspire your faith.

What happens on a Sunday?

If you are someone who loves to sing and be a part of the service then Gateway is for you, equally if you would just like to sit with a coffee and watch the service quietly then Gateway is for you too.  We want you to feel welcome and comfortable to explore God and the relationship with Jesus at your own pace.

When you arrive on a Sunday, you will receive a warm welcome from our hosting team and made to feel at home. We have a space waiting for you, please grab a free coffee, tea, or cold drink from our refreshment team at the coffee bar and take a seat. Gateway news will be displayed on our projector screens so you can see what we do and get some more information from us.

If you have children, you can sign them into their very own kids' group at this stage. The children go to their group halfway through the service during the refreshment break however if you would rather them stay with you; we have a great kids table at the back of the church where they can do fun activities. All our children and youth workers are DBS checked and work in line with our child protection policy.

We will then sing some praise songs before we have a break to refill our drinks and to allow the kids and youth to go to their groups. After the break, someone comes and shares a talk about the Christian faith which will encourage you in practical ways to see how our faith can help us be the best we can be in the world today.

The service will then conclude, and you will then be shown where to go to collect your children and youth and if you would like to hang out for a bit to get to know someone new you would be more than welcome.

We do hope you will join us and we look forward to meeting you!
